SUMMARY
Responsible for activities related to station projects and ensures they are performed in accordance with approved procedures, guidelines, specifications, and regulatory requirements and within specific established budgetary and schedule goals and commitments.  Prepares scope of work documents and contractor monitoring plans.  Monitors department and contractor activities for compliance with schedule, budgets, and other requirements.


Coordinator Project Associate

EDUCATION
•    Associates degree in Construction Management, Business or Engineering (Preferred)
•    Without a degree, 1 year experience in nuclear, commercial or industrial construction/engineering, operation or maintenance which primarily focuses on project management, contractor management, scheduling and cost control may be considered.  

EXPERIENCE
•    Experience not required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
•    There is no Licensure or Certification required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assignment of low complexity projects.
•    Scope of projects < $250K, team size less than 20.  Projects do not directly impact business plan performance. For development purposes, projects with scope that exceed these parameters may be assigned.
•    Plan, organize, and implement project scope to ensure on-time and on-budget completion with safe and error free performance. 
•    Develop project plans, goals, and budgets including identifying resource needs.
•    Assign individual responsibilities and ensure actions are completed as assigned. Facilitates development and implementation of an integrated project team.
•    Interfaces with departments and contractors, providing information to assist in achieving project budgets, schedules, and other requirements. Develop schedules and methods for measuring results.
•    Monitor budget/schedule activities. Identify unanticipated changes in budget/schedule and impact from changes. Investigate/analyze problems to determine causes and remedial/corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
•    Evaluate corrective actions proposed by others for implementation.
•    Serves as Contract Technical Coordinator (CTC). Ensures contractual compliance and procedural requirements are met. Develop contractor monitoring plans. Document & communicates deviations from contract.
•    Reviews and gains Supervisor approval for vendor payments based on meeting contractual requirements/milestones. Monitors department and contractor activities for compliance with applicable codes and standards, quality expectations, and other requirements. 

Coordinator Project

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
•    2 years’ experience in nuclear, commercial, or industrial construction/engineering or maintenance which primarily focused on project management, contractor management, scheduling, and cost control. (Required)

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
•    There is no Licensure or Certification required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides leadership for large projects.
•    Scope of projects >$250K - <$1M, team size 20 – 50.  Projects do not directly impact business plan performance. For development purposes projects with scope that exceed these parameters may be assigned.
•    Responsible for project activities to include scope management, schedule development, cost monitoring and control, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders on actions, mobilization, implementation, working safely and event free through project closeout.
•    Develops methods for measuring results. Monitors department and contractor activities for compliance with applicable codes, standards, quality expectations, and other requirements.
•    Interfaces with departments and contractors, providing information to assist in achieving project budgets, schedules and other requirements. Provides necessary contractor oversight and monitoring to assure compliance with all site requirements.
•    Develops and implements contractor performance monitoring plans, as assigned. Performs projects, inspections, and audits as assigned. 
•    Identifies direct and support tasks necessary to successfully complete projects and coordinate tasks with departments and vendors.
•    Investigates and analyzes reported problems to determine causes and remedial and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
•    Evaluates corrective actions proposed by others for appropriateness, applicability and technical adequacy.
•    Verifies compliance with terms and conditions and technical contract audits. 
•    Authorizes vendor payments based on meeting contractual requirements and milestones.

 

Coordinator Project Sr

EDUCATION
•    Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, Engineering or Project Management (Preferred)
•    Without a degree, 4 years’ experience in nuclear, commercial or industrial construction/engineering, operation or maintenance which primarily focuses on project management, contractor management, scheduling and cost control may be considered.  

EXPERIENCE
•    4 years’ experience in nuclear, commercial, or industrial construction/engineering or maintenance which primarily focused on project management, contractor management, scheduling, and cost control. (Required)

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
•     (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (Preferred)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Scope typically >$1M and <$5M, team size >50.  Project have direct impact on Station Business plan goals.
•    Plan, organize, and implement project's scope to ensure on time and on budget completion with safe and error free performance. 
•    Develop project plans, goals and budgets including identifying resource needs.
•    Assign individual responsibilities and ensure actions are completed as assigned. 
•    Facilitates development and implementation of a project team. Interfaces with department and contractors to provide information to assist achieving project budgets, schedules and other requirements.
•    Develops schedules and methods for measuring results.

•    Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) (Preferred)
